Drawing Units

When you start up AutoCAD 2015
By default AutoCAD start up a drawing in Metric if you choose Singapore during installation

To check the drawing units



Enter UN



Millimeters display under Insert scale

This is not a convertor, it will not convert imperial drawing into metric drawing

Start New Drawing in Metric



Quick Access Toolbar - New



Select acadiso on the template list

For mechanical drawing, use the default millimeter units
For furniture drawing, enter UN



Select Centimeters

For landscape drawing, you might need to select meters
